February is for Connection

Hi there,

This month at The Water’s Edge, I’m inviting us to tune into Connection.

Connection to your body.
Connection to the water.
Connection to the people and practices that help you stay with what matters — especially in this time when things feel uncertain, chaotic, and messy.

Rather than fixing or pushing, February is about re-establishing contact and noticing what changes when you stay in relationship with your swimming — and yourself.

Inside The Water’s Edge, you’ll find weekly polls and reflection questions, live Q&A calls to re-orient and ask real questions, and connection with other thoughtful water lovers exploring what swimming can offer — not just in performance, but in presence, perspective, and meaning.

Alongside this theme, The Swim Continuum kicks off this Friday at 1:30 PM Pacific. It’s a six month container — a supportive space for swimmers who want to stay connected to the fundamentals of efficient swimming through weekly guided practices, shared reflection, and monthly group coaching calls. Whether you’re working toward a big swim, returning to the water, or simply looking for a steady place to explore what you’re noticing, this cohort based group coaching about reducing the risk of injury and burnout and keeping your practice sustainable and meaningful.

If you’ve been curious about being part of the community — or looking for a way to stay engaged without pressure — this is a lovely moment to join.

You’re always welcome here.

Alongside you,
Shannon

PS: If you’re curious or unsure, you’re welcome to reply to this email. I’m happy to answer questions or help you sense whether this is the right moment.
